What Types of Suede Dye Do We Produce?

Since 1996, we have been producing the following types of dye for suede goods:

• Teinture Artisanale Professional Penetrating Dye. With this product, you can completely dye or tint smooth leather, suede, and nubuck goods. This leather dye penetrates deep into the fibres of the material and changes their colour. Also, with its help, you can draw on suede goods and customise them.
• Nubuck & Suede Renovator Spray. We have developed this product to restore the colour of shoes, clothes, car interiors, and other suede goods. Nubuck & Suede also saturate the material with naturally nourishing components. Thanks to this, after applying the product to the item, you will extend its service life at least 5–7 times.
• Multi Oil Balm Renovator Cream. This leather care product made for velvet types of leather nourishes, softens, and moisturises the material. Of course, due to the presence of stable pigments in the renovator cream, this product restores the colour of the treated item.

It is worth noting that we create coloured MAVI STEP suede renovator spray and renovator cream using MultiColour technology. Due to this, after applying any of these products to the item, it “recognizes” the colour of the material, making it more saturated and uniform.

MAVI STEP Suede Dye Application

The answer to this question is different for each specific product. We have added detailed instructions on how to use these products on their pages on mavistep.com. But, nevertheless, there is a certain algorithm that is the same for all MAVI STEP suede dyes:

1. Cleaning from dust and dried dirt. Perform this step with a universal brush with stiff bristles or a special suede brush.
2. Deep cleaning. Performed with a liquid cleaner.
3. Application of suede dye. It is performed with a sponge or brush, depending on the format of the product.
4. Restoration of velvety. Perform this stage with a universal brush with stiff bristles or a special suede brush after the dye dries.
